JBCE has incorporated LEEDS based sustainability considerations into our design process. From specifying up to 60% fly ash replacement of cement in concrete to evaluating the relative advantages of using new materials versus shipping recycled materials longer distances, to designing for the least amount of new material, we contribute to the global effort toward sustainable building. We were selected by Urban Ore, Inc., an internationally known leader in green building, to design the seismic retrofit for their EcoPark headquarters in Berkeley, California.
