In her role as chief project manager for the firm, Gina has overseen an enormous variety of challenging projects. Her education at California Polytechnic State University focused on the integration of architecture and structure, making her the perfect choice for her senior role in JBSE. Gina's extraordinary expertise in such areas as seismic retrofit engineering, design of new structures, and load transfer engineering has been recognized by numerous awards on projects throughout her distinguished career. Prior to her work at JBSE, Gina managed or was lead engineer on large, complex and award winning projects such as a nine-story San Francisco commercial remodel and seismic retrofit that involved the removal of nearly all of the lower level columns to create open retail space. Gina is a licensed Structural Engineer and Civil Engineer in the State of California.
