Jon Brody, SE
Principal

Jon is uniquely qualified for his position as principal of JBSE. His background in construction (first in the trades, then as a general contractor) led him to pursue Masters of Architecture and Masters of Science in Structural Engineering degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. His passion for the integration of architecture, structure, and construction methodology lies at the root of his vision for JBSE. He received his critical professional training at Tipping Mar Associates, often working directly under both principals, and was responsible for the engineering of a number of complex projects including the seismic capacity design for a new eleven-story reinforced concrete building in San Francisco. Jon is a licensed Architect and Civil Engineer in California and a licensed Structural Engineer in both California and Hawaii.
